{"id":7127,"date":"2022-06-07T21:00:57","date_gmt":"2022-06-07T19:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kotronis.gr\/news\/world-environment-day-2022\/"},"modified":"2022-06-07T21:04:37","modified_gmt":"2022-06-07T19:04:37","slug":"world-environment-day-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kotronis.gr\/en\/news\/world-environment-day-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"World Environment Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the occasion of World Environment Day, our company carried out an Environmental Awareness and Education action for young children.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, on the afternoon of Saturday, 4 June, the children of Kotronis Packaging employees participated in an interactive recycling workshop in the factory courtyard.<\/p>\n<p>Through experiential play, the children had the opportunity to learn the basic rules for effective recycling and to identify reusing and recycling as solutions to the problem of waste.<\/p>\n<p>Then, they were able to see how the recycling loop closes in practice: after proper sorting and separation, plastic packaging can become a raw material again in the state-of-the-art regeneration machine for production waste management used by Kotronis Packaging.<\/p>\n<p>We warmly thank the kindergarten teacher Konstantinos Antonopoulos who made our event special and constructive and, finally, all our children for their fun and positive mood.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the occasion of World Environment Day, our company carried out an Environmental Awareness and Education action for young children.
